Why Reset Session or Clear Cache and Cookies?
When using a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
- Cookies are files created by sites visited. They make the online experience easier by saving browsing data.
- The cache remembers parts of pages, like images, to help them open faster during a future next visit.
If users are experiencing issues on the platform, such as being unable to bid/can't bid, prompted to login to MyProxibid multiple times when placing bids, or can't add items to a watch list, they should use the steps below to attempt to resolve the issue.
Resetting your Bidder Session
Some odd issues are often related to your bidder session, which can be quickly reset to resolve any issues. To reset your bidding session please follow this link and click Reset Now: https://www.proxibid.com/asp/bidder/BidderSupport.asp
After pressing the reset button, you will be prompted to log back in to begin your new session. This should resolve the issues you were seeing.
If you continue to see any issues, we recommend clearing your browser cache and cookies for all time using the steps below.
Clearing Cache and Cookies
When clearing cache and cookies, if prompted to select a time frame, select "All Time". If the browser is cleared for less than "All Time", the issue may persist.

After clearing browser cache and cookies, close the browser completely and then login to MyProxibid again. If the issue persists, try restarting the computer.
