This article describes the process for setting up alerts relating to auctions on Proxibid.

Managing Alerts
Bidders can set up alerts to notify them when they’ve been outbid or to remind them that an event is starting on Proxibid.
- Log into Proxibid by clicking the Sign In link on the top right corner of the page and entering the Email Address (or Username) and Password associated with the account.
- To reset the password associated with the account, click the Forgot Password link.
- For additional login assistance, please contact Proxibid directly.
- Select MyProxibid from the drop-down in the top right corner of the page.
- On the Dashboard, click on the Manage Contact Info link located in the Account box.
- On the Contact Info tab, scroll down to the Communication Settings section.
- Click on the checkbox to the right of an alert to enable/disabled it.
- Both the Mobile Phone and Mobile Carrier fields must be completed under Contact Information before text (SMS) alerts can be enabled.
- To enable Event Reminder alerts, check the By Email or By SMS box (or both) and then use the Timeframe drop-down to select how far in advance alerts should be sent.

- Click Save button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
